Al Maweed Marine Services (MMS) is part of Al Maweed Group of Establishments which consists of Al Maweed Commercial Est., which was formed in 1970, dealing in food stuffs and beverages.

Al Maweed Marine Services (MMS). By the end of 1980, Al Maweed had largely extended their activities in keeping with the developing local overseas requirements. Therefore, MMS was established with idea of offering full-fledged shipping agency and complete logistics agency.
On stevedoring side, in July 1991 Deptt of US Army, Military Traffic Management Command – South West Asia, awarded MMS SR 156 million stevedoring & terminal related services contract for ports of Dammam and Jubail which was successfully completed.
Al Maweed Marine Services (Survey) act as marine surveyors and nautical consultants.
